The Laboratory for Biomaterials and Bioengineering is an academic, professional and scientific laboratory established in January 2000
The missions are:
Key objectives to achieve these goals include the nurturing and development of future generations of basic and clinical scientists and to enhance the dissemination of new knowledge in biomaterials and bioengineering research, with particular focus on cardiovascular needs.
The laboratory seeks to bring together researchers, scientists and physicians who work both with the basic science and the clinical applications of various techniques to facilitate communication between their respective groups.
Lab’s members work in a project management context, as an appropriate philosophy and a specific methodology for carrying out successfully research projects in the competitive context of the global market with the highest quality results.
All members of the Lab are asked to design, plan, realize and manage the project for which they are responsible while working in team with others members and assuming the role of manager of the project. Skills toward scientific research as well as toward project management are expected to be developed by the student members since the very beginning of their involvement in the team.
We are hiring students at undergraduate and graduate levels. There are numbers of position available for undergraduate level (summer internships, undergraduate projects), graduate level (masters, doctorates), post graduate level (post-doctoral internships).
Interested candidate please contact Professor Diego Mantovani.
